Synopsis
Yan Hui is naturally attracted to women, but she is forcibly bound to a system and turned into cannon-fodder female supporting roles across world after world. In every mission she has to stomach a disgusting stock task: seduce the male lead and bully the heroine. After enduring this again and again, Yan Hui blackens first. She starts striking back at the main god, interfering with the system's core program, and carrying out revenge in subsequent mission worlds by crazily wrecking the original plotline. In the first world she becomes a glamorous idol spirit and brazenly steals the heroine away right under the male lead's nose. In the second world she becomes an arrogant imperial consort and stirs up chaos all through the male lead's harem. In the third world she becomes an unscrupulous campus tyrant and publicly snatches away the school belle whom the male lead has secretly loved for a long time. In world after world she tears apart the script. Because she violates the rules of those worlds, all of her points are confiscated and the main god locks her in a dark room for punishment. Bound hand and foot, Yan Hui still smirks and says, I bet you don't dare kill me. The main god only smiles with indulgent gentleness and replies, Who said I was going to kill you? A note warns that Yan Hui is not a good person. Anyone crushed through thousands of missions by a system would be lucky not to go mad and destroy the worlds entirely, so in the first arc she is a little deranged and does not care about anyone's feelings as long as she is having fun. The short summary given by the author is simple: I will outlive the system, and I will steal the heroine from the male lead. The mini-scene has the male lead furiously accusing Yan Hui of doing all this just to get him, while Yan Hui wraps an arm around the heroine and answers with a wicked smile that the heroine seems to like her more. The heroine shyly confirms that she likes Yan Hui best. The author also mentions a completed entertainment-circle novel, Heard You Like Women? , and then previews the next quick-transmigration story, When the Heroine Blackens. Wen Nuan is a newly hired task agent assigned by the main system to enter different worlds as a supporting woman or villainous cannon fodder, complete the mainline missions, and serve as the stepping stone that lets the hero and heroine achieve both worldly success and romantic happiness. After a hundred tasks she still wants nothing more than retirement, planning to exchange her points for an easy world and a peaceful old age. Instead, several heroines in her worlds blacken for no apparent reason and refuse to follow the script, collapsing the main plot and freezing every point Wen Nuan has earned. The system's solution is to send her back into those broken worlds to lower the heroines' blackening values. The first broken world pairs a top actress with a wealthy female CEO; the second is a cold, self-abasing academic genius and a noisy delinquent; the third is a demon disciple and an immortal master; the fourth is a capital heiress and a romantic prince. As Wen Nuan works to reduce the blackening, she gradually realizes that the plot is drifting farther and farther from the original track. Why do the heroines keep confessing to her? Why is the male lead fading from relevance? Why does every version of her feel so familiar? Only when she wakes once more with a heroine asleep in her arms, asks the system for post-event props, lights a cigarette, and murmurs that she seems to have turned gay does the system dryly remind her that this is not the first time she has said so. Wen Nuan shamelessly admits she is only here to show off her love life.
