Synopsis

This story enters VIP on Saturday, July 3, with three updates that day, and the author thanks everyone for the support. Du Ruowei, the saintess of Luohua Sect, becomes bound to a system that tells her the only way to survive is to collect the female lead's hatred value and help blacken her so she can unite the righteous and demonic paths. The female lead in question is Shen Lingyu, the aloof flower of the righteous path. In order to stay alive, Du Ruowei begins a self-destructive campaign of persecuting Shen Lingyu. As luck would have it, Shen Lingyu is getting married, so with the system's help Du Ruowei successfully intercepts the bridal sedan and abducts her back to Luohua Sect. Since Luohua Sect specializes in seductive arts, Du Ruowei gracefully approaches Shen Lingyu as she wakes and lifts her chin, breathing softly against her face while saying that she has heard the human world has a custom of bride-stealing, and now the fairy is hers. Du Ruowei expects shame, anger, and a surge of hatred. Instead, Shen Lingyu's eyes light up and she replies in a terribly alluring voice that the human world also says a single spring night is worth a thousand gold. Du Ruowei almost collapses and starts frantically pounding on the system, asking whether it mixed something up, because how can this woman be even more seductive than she is if Shen Lingyu is supposed to be cold and lofty? The system calmly replies that she is tall, has an ice spiritual root, and is indeed cold. Du Ruowei has nothing left to say. The second half reveals that Shen Lingyu has transmigrated into the very torture novel she once wrote. The moment she opens her eyes, she sees her favorite character and wants nothing more than to rush over and kiss her. In the original story, the namesake female lead loses all cultivation, suffers a broken engagement, gets bullied by her fellow disciples, blackens into demonic madness, accidentally kills the only person who ever treated her well when her power spirals out of control, and finally goes insane. Why fight over all that? The current Shen Lingyu wants none of the old muddy waters. Holding her wife close on a warm bed sounds much better. So she starts spending her days teasing her wife, but the world line shifts, the righteous path begins to attack Luohua Sect, and Du Ruowei is badly injured while protecting Shen Lingyu, whose cultivation is gone. Watching Du Ruowei fall, Shen Lingyu begins to hate, hating her own naive indolence and hating everyone who hurt Du Ruowei. If she could place the world itself under her control, then Ruowei would be safe. It is time for everyone to learn who the real protagonist is. Meanwhile, Du Ruowei, who thinks she is about to die, watches the hatred value soar and weakly asks why it is still rising when she just saved Shen Lingyu. The system answers that it never said the hatred was directed at her. Du Ruowei can only curse the cheating system. The pairing is a survival-minded witch who only wants to stay alive and a free-spirited immortal lady who transmigrates into a book. Notes say it is one-to-one, deliberately silly in style, sweet, and might as well be titled The Days the System Screwed Me Over. The teaser for another project, I Fought Through the Cultivation World at Low Health for My Junior Sister, then follows. By the transmigration law of novels with matching titles, Fu Sheng enters a book and becomes a sickly villainous senior sister who is also the heroine's elder martial sister. The original owner has not done evil yet, so Fu Sheng decides to stay far from the heroine and coast through the remaining sixty years of her life. But when she sees the heroine's stubborn, thin figure standing in the rain, she cannot help raising an umbrella over her. One wrong step leads to many more, and Fu Sheng eventually realizes she has spoiled the heroine too badly. Remembering that the girl is basically Tang Monk flesh to everyone around her, Fu Sheng grits her teeth and ends her lazy life. Every time someone shouts that the junior sister has been kidnapped, she coughs blood while wiping out tree demons, beating up demon lords, or demanding to know who took the cabbage she raised. When she finally hears that the junior sister has fallen into demonic cultivation, she bursts into tears, thinking she can finally rest because she has already saved people all the way to becoming number one under heaven. Then someone adds that the junior sister wants to carry her off as a bandit wife, and Fu Sheng's brain short-circuits. In the second teaser, Qi Shuyuan is reborn on the rainy day when everything began after being betrayed by everyone because of her extremely yin body. The rain is much the same as in memory, except that this time someone is holding an umbrella. The woman beneath it looks cold and thin and cannot stop coughing. Qi Shuyuan thinks she is only pretending to be kind, but she gradually realizes that this woman is carrying not just an umbrella but every future storm for her. So she hides her claws, acts ignorant, and asks why senior sister does not cultivate. Fu Sheng answers, pale and coughing, that her ambitions are small and sixty years is already long. Qi Shuyuan thinks sixty years is far too short. She wants time to last long enough, so she disguises herself as useless just to push her senior sister to practice. But senior sister shines so brightly that she attracts too many admirers, and Qi Shuyuan immediately falls into demonic obsession, packs her up, locks her in her arms, and says that she belongs to her. Later she realizes she never needed to hide her love at all, because she has always lived in her senior sister's heart. The pairing there is a sickly book-transmigrating senior sister who fiercely protects her own and a reborn junior sister who is crazy and obsessively attached.
