Synopsis

[Completed.] After suddenly dying during a night of overtime work, Su Youqing binds herself to a villain-rescue system. In every little world there is a monstrous villain on the verge of turning dark, waiting for her to save them. The system promises that if she completes the missions, she will be given a chance at rebirth. Outwardly, Su Youqing says, Great, great, thank you for giving me this opportunity. Inwardly, she does not want to come back to life at all just to keep slaving away for capitalists. She sets her sights on the villains before they blacken, approaches them with ulterior motives, and tries to use them to gain fame, profit, or power. What she does not realize is that these monsters have already gone through countless cycles in every world. They have grown tired of this world, found it boring, and destroyed it completely over and over again. Everything only starts to become interesting once they meet Su Youqing... By the time Su Youqing realizes something is wrong and tries to stop and run, it is already too late. She is caught by the monsters and subjected to unspeakably vicious punishment. [The federal chancellor, worshipped by the masses in public, takes off her gloves inside a cramped car, her body turning into pitch-black slime that coils around the girl's slender wrists and ankles: Why are you running? Did you not once swear you would be my wife for life?] [The finest sentinel in the wasteland world, covered in blood, pulls her into an embrace: Did you not say you only wanted me? Why are you running?] [An indescribable evil god takes human form, bends down to kiss her fingertips, and says: Mother, since you were the one who awakened me, do not ever think of abandoning me.] ... Su Youqing wants to cry but has no tears. Someone should have told her that monsters are this impossible to provoke. Reading guide: 1. Main point-of-view shou; the heroine has no conscience and plays wildly. 2. An adversarial lovers dynamic that looks like knives drawn, but is really flirting through bickering. 3. The gong has damp, sinister, nonhuman traits, and in every world it is the same person. Happy ending.
