Synopsis

Main synopsis. The pairing is a gentle, stubborn young general and an intelligent eldest princess, with mutual secret love and both attacking each other. Rumor says Princess Jingyang keeps countless male favorites, especially pretty, fair, slim-waisted pretty boys. One day a big cat sneaks into her residence. The cat is highly skilled: it can forge the grand general's handwriting, secretly replace her study companion, and even swap out that companion's gender. Very good, Zhou Nan thinks with a hooked smile as she teases the cat into circling her with dried fish. As time passes, petting the cat becomes more and more natural, and she starts wanting to keep it by her side forever. On the eve of the young general's return to the capital, the emperor privately asks whether she would like him to grant her a marriage to Situ Che, the consort her late mother once favored and someone exactly matching her stated type. Zhou Nan immediately refuses. She has already found her cat. But on the day Situ Che returns, the princess discovers that her cat is gone and is instead riding on the young general's horse. Zhou Nan has always carried someone in her heart. Others think she likes effeminate men, but what they do not know is that those men were only shadows of a certain girl. When she hears that the young general is to marry, she sits alone in the woods, upright yet lonely, because every woman in the world can marry Situ Che except her. Then the big cat that should not be there crashes into her arms and asks whether the promise that Her Highness would marry her still counts. Zhou Nan freezes. It was a promise she made in a youthful moment, captivated by beauty at first sight. Only Zhou Nan knows the real answer to the many excellent women who long for Situ Che to marry them. When she first met Situ Che at age eight, she blurted out that Situ Che should marry her in the future. The synopsis then advertises a next book, The Married Iceberg Is a Little Sweet. Zhu Minxi and Yue Linxue come from two families with a long friendship and were engaged since childhood. During her first stirrings of youth, the free-spirited Zhu Minxi meets someone she likes, immediately breaks the engagement, leaves her family, and enters the entertainment industry on her own. Yue Linxue, the one-sidedly rejected fiancee, says nothing, accepts a girl who has pursued her for a long time, and rises in her career until she becomes president of Fengyue Entertainment. Though the two work in the same company, their different ranks and the need to avoid suspicion mean they rarely meet, so neither expects their reunion to happen at a cheating scene. Asking in unison whether that is the other's girlfriend, they then fall into strange long silence. Zhu Minxi proposes that maybe they should just get married instead. Yue Linxue says yes. The two end their relationships and immediately go to obtain a marriage certificate. Zhu Minxi thinks life will probably stay like this. She knows love can make you panic-green with jealousy, while Yue Linxue is someone who keeps her promises and will never betray her. That should be enough. What good can talking about love ever do? Yet after marriage, career, family, and friendship all begin to go smoothly, and as the saying goes, once one has food and warmth, other desires awaken. Her wife is beautiful, omnipotent, has a great figure, can both top and bottom, is skilled in bed, and even helps her perform affectionate-wife scenes. Zhu Minxi's gaze toward Yue Linxue starts to change. One could say Yue Linxue has everything except feelings. But little girls are the ones who act sentimental and cry to the heavens; adults use adult methods, namely saying shamelessly flirtatious things. She asks whether her dancing looks good and whether she can perform it for her wife alone, which of those sexy outfits President Yue likes best or whether no clothes would look even better, whether they can live day after day together, and whether Yue Linxue likes her a little more today. At last, one day she notices Yue Linxue's ears quietly turning red.
